Ezzie Louise Routt-Fay better known as "SUE" 72 of Brady, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at her home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Brady. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she was a long-time member.

Sue was born October 4, 1946 in Brady TX to parents Jodie and Frankie Routt. she recieved her primary education from Brady Public Schools, specifically Dunbar School, and graduated from Brady High Schoo.. She accepted Christ at an early age and was very active in the church all of her life. Sue was one of the First African American Women to attend Howard Payne University, and then on to get her CAN Certification, and began a life-long career in the health care field caring for others as she loved to do. Mama Sue loved to have as many friends and family around as possible no matter the occasion .. She loved to play Dominies and Rummie.. She loved football and running her boards. She was a huge fan of the Game show network specifically the Steve Harvey show
She is survived by husband of 35 years Robert Fay Jr.,3 daughters; Lisa Routt of Brady, Tannya Lacy of Houston, and Passhionae Fay of Abilene; 3 brothers, Sammy Routt and wife Patsy of Brady, MC Routt and wife Mary Helen of Brady, and Ira Routt of San Angelo; 2 sisters, Faye Revada of Brady, Donna Thomas and Husband Gerald Thomas of Round Rock; 4 granddaughters: Jordan, Rian, ChYnA, and Alysa.. 2 great-granddaughters, Amiah and Mishanee. She also has countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and dear loved ones.
